LORI CALLAHAN
A COMMON SENSE CONSERVATIVE
Lori and her husband David have been married since 1995 and are dedicated to giving back to the community. Along with their two teenage children, they volunteer hundreds of hours each year to make our community a better place to live, work and raise a family. Lori received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and her master’s degree in business management from Southern Nazarene University. Lori served as a PTA member at Harvest Hills-Putnam City Schools, and currently serves on the boards of the Cleveland Neighborhood Association and the Integrity Foundation. Lori volunteered over 10 years at Life Covenant Community International Ministries which fed, clothed, and assisted children from impoverished areas in West Oklahoma City. The Callahans are active members of Frontline Church where Lori serves on the Women’s Council.
DEEP ROOTS IN OUR COMMUNITY
As a small business owner for 14 years, Lori knows the pressure business owners face due to burdensome regulations, that’s why Lori is committed to improving the atmosphere for small business owners in Oklahoma. Lori and David have served as foster parents to teenage children and know first-hand how crucial it is that services are adequately funded to ensure the most vulnerable among us do not fall through the cracks. She will also fight to keep education funded.
As a substitute school teacher, she knows the dedication of our teachers and will be a tireless advocate for our schools. Oklahoma incarcerates more women than any other state in the country. Lori knows that this destroys families and she will work to reduce the incarceration rate and provide funding for job training and drug rehabilitation so those now incarcerated can be productive members of our state. A life-long Republican, Lori is a past president of the Redlands Republican Women’s Club and has volunteered on numerous campaigns.
